In return for enjoying the amenities of the Club, members are expected to fulfill certain obligations. Playing your part, both on and off the field, makes the Club better for all of us.

Attendance at Practices and Games
Senior practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. All players are expected to be ready to begin practice at 6:45 p.m. Those who require taping or a special warm-up should plan to arrive early.

Games are Saturdays with kickoffs at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1:00 pm and 2:30 p.m. Home games are at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, away games as per the published schedules. Players are expected to check the LakeLine for any late changes to kickoff time or venue. Players must arrive at the game venue least one hour before kickoff, or early if required by the team captain. Warm-up timing is per the team captain’s instructions.

Absence from Practices or Games
Players who are unavailable for games or unable to make practice should advise their coaches AND e-mail Simon at simons@nuheat.com.

Post Game Procedure
Burnaby Lake golf shirts are to be worn after all games. Players who have misplaced their shirt can puchase a golf shirt from the club shop. Expect to be penalised by your teammates if you aren’t wearing a golf shirt post game.

After home games, we provide post game refreshment to our opposition. Every player contributes $2.00 to this, effectively purchasing his or her opposite number a drink. Team captains are responsible for collection, but do not have the time to chase you. We look forward to everybody’s co-operation on this small but important tradition.

Attendance at Social Events and Participation in Fundraisers
The Club holds social events throughout the year and organizes fundraisers. Players are expected to make every effort to attend these events and contribute to fundraisers. This means selling your WinWin tickets! The Club depends on money raised by social events and fundraisers to defray its expenses. Social events also build our Club spirit, attract new people to the Club and provide stories to share before and after practice. If all you’re seeing is what’s on Facebook, you don’t know the half of it…
